2. What we collect

We collect personal information in exactly one place: the contact form. Nothing on this site collects personal information silently, and we do not buy, rent, or otherwise obtain your details from third parties.

When you submit the contact form, we receive:

• Your name — so we know who we are replying to.
• Your email address — so we can reply.
• The subject you selected — so your message reaches the right person.
• Your message — including anything you choose to include in it.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message. If you are submitting a game, send only what is needed to start the conversation.

3. Why we use it

Solely to read, evaluate, and respond to the inquiry you sent. We do not use your information for advertising, we do not profile you, and we do not add you to a mailing list. If we later want to contact you for any other purpose, we will ask for your consent first.

4. How long we keep it

We retain each contact-form submission for three years from the date we receive it, after which it is deleted. Three years is the retention period Korean law sets for records of consumer inquiries and dispute handling, and we apply it uniformly rather than keeping correspondence indefinitely.

Where the correspondence becomes part of an ongoing business relationship — a signed agreement, for instance — we keep it for as long as that relationship and any longer statutory requirement lasts. You can ask us to delete your submission sooner; see Your rights below.

5. Who else sees it

Your submission is delivered to us as an email. To send that email we use a third-party mail service, which processes the message in transit on our behalf. Beyond that we do not share, sell, or disclose your information to anyone, except where we are legally compelled to do so by a competent authority.

6. Cookies and tracking

This site runs no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. Your light or dark theme preference is stored locally in your own browser so the site remembers it on your next visit. That preference never reaches our servers, and clearing your browser storage removes it.

7. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, suspend our use of it, or delete it entirely. You may also withdraw consent you have previously given. Exercising any of these rights costs nothing and will never affect how we treat your submission.

To make a request, email privacy@daichotomy.com. We will respond without undue delay. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission of Korea.

8. How we protect it

Submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and access to the receiving mailbox is limited to the people who need it to answer you. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not retain your data anywhere it does not need to be.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised version on this page before the change takes effect.
